Macau Observation Deck

Three storeys of glass 223 m above Macau, an open-air deck with glass-floor panels, and the world's highest commercial bungee jump from the outdoor level.

Tickets and prices

The Macau Tower observation deck spans two levels of the 338 m tower at the southern tip of the Macau Peninsula. Level 58 is an indoor lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows three storeys high; Level 61 is the outdoor Adventure Deck, where the Skywalk and the bungee jump start. One ticket covers both.

From the top you look over the old city and the casinos of the peninsula, the bridges to Taipa and Cotai, and across the water to Hengqin and the Pearl River Delta.

Before you go

Is the Macau Tower observation deck worth it?

For the view, yes: it is the highest vantage point in Macau, and the whole city fits in one turn round the deck. Add the Skywalk if you want to step outside the glass without jumping.

How long should I spend at Macau Tower?

About an hour for the observation deck. For the Skywalk, bungee or Skyjump allow two to three hours: you check in 30 minutes early, registration takes about 30 minutes, and your slot is usually within one to two hours after that.

When is the best time to go?

Late afternoon, so you see the city in daylight, at sunset and lit up. The air is usually clearest from October to December; summer haze can hide the far shore.

Can I watch someone do the bungee jump?

Yes. Friends and family can watch the jump and the Skywalk from the observation deck, on a normal deck ticket.

Does bad weather stop the activities?

Skywalk, bungee, Skyjump and Tower Climb pause in typhoons, strong wind, thunder and heavy rain. The indoor deck stays open, but cloud can hide the view.
